Australian Film Critics Association Awards 2013: 6th Annual AFCA Winners

The winners of the 6th Annual Australian Film Critics Association Awards have been announced. The 2013 AFCA Awards winners are from “a professional association for film critics, film reviewers and film journalists who work regularly in the media, and provide informed discussion, analysis, and comment about Australian and world cinema.” The Awards’ goal “is to raise the level of film culture in Australia by recognizing the work of Australian film critics and film commentators and to broaden public awareness of film as an art form and cultural artifact.”

Ivan Hutchinson Award for Writing on Australian Film
WINNER: Josh Nelson (God in all things – HAIL)

Award for Writing on Non-Australian Film
WINNER: Rebecca Harkins Cross (The Shape of Rage – DANGEROUS METHODS)

Award for a Review of an individual Australian Film
WINNER: Michael Scott (All the Way Through Evening)
