European Film Awards 2014: 27th Annual Nominations
The nominations of the 27st Annual European Film Awards have been announced. The 2014 European Film Awards is an award “presented annually since 1988 by the European Film Academy to recognize excellence in European cinematic achievements. The awards are given in over ten categories of which the most important is the Film of the year. They are restricted to European cinema and European producers, directors, and actors…The some 3,000 members of the European Film Academy will vote on the winner of this year’s European Discovery Award, which will be announced at the European Film Awards in Riga, Latvia on Dec. 13.”
