The winners of the 6th Annual Les Arcs European Film Festival Awards have been announced. The 2014 Les Arcs European Film Festival Awards are part of the European Film Festival des Arcs…a film festival dedicated to European cinema independent…The festival aims to promote European cinema in all its diversity, showing little independent European films exported outside their borders…(Savoie, France).
The winners of the 2014 Les Arcs European Film Festival Awards:
Crystal Arrow
The Crystal Arrow in partnership with LVT Digimage was attributed to The Fool, Russian film Yuriy Bykov
Grand Jury Prize
The Jury Grand Prix was awarded to These Are the rules, Croatian film Ognjen Svilicic.
A Special Jury Mention was awarded to Labyrinth of Silence, German film Giulio Ricciarelli.
Best Actress Award
The Best Actress award, sponsored by MetroNews, was awarded to Bianca Kronlöf in the Swedish film Underdog Ronnie Sandhal.
Best Actor Award
The Best Actor Award, sponsored by MetroNews, rewarded the actor Peter Ferdinando in the British film Hyena Gerard Johnson.
Award for Best Music
The price of the best music was awarded to composer Stephen Rennicks for the Irish film Frank Lenny Abrahamson.
Prize for Best Photography
The Best Cinematography Award went to Kirill Klepalov for the Russian film The Fool Yuriy Bykov.
Audience Award
The Audience Award , in partnership with France 4 rewarded Labyrinth of Silence , German film Giulio Ricciarelli.
Young Jury Award
The students of Bourg Saint Maurice, Albertville and Chambery presented the Young Jury Prize at the Russian film The Fool , Yuriy Bykov.
Cineuropa Price
The Cineuropa Prize , awarded to a film produced or co-produced by a country participating in the MEDIA program or a member of Eurimages program was delivered to the Belgian film Waste Land , Pieter Van Hees.
Press Prize
The Press Award , awarded by a jury of six journalists MetroNews, Paris Match, VSD, The OBS, Gala and the Dauphiné Libéré rewarded Fidélio, Odyssey Alice , French film Lucie Borleteau.
Best Short Film Award
The Best Short Film award from a jury of Eric Guirado, Grainne Humphreys, Maxie Musqua Pascale Faure, Xavier Lambours and Elodie Legay was presented to Welkom , Belgian short film by Pablo Munoz Gomez.
